Recap: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Quitman County Hornets
The Terrell County Greenwave stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Quitman County 57-9 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-3.
Terrell County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ciara Harvey out in front who scored 14 points. Harvey continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Rushing, who scored 12 points.
Terrell County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Quitman County, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Early County the next time they take the court. Terrell County will head out to face Early County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Quitman County will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
