Basketball Game Preview: St. Anthony Bulldogs vs. Altamont Indians

The St. Anthony Bulldogs will challenge the Altamont Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Anthony is coming into the match hot, having won their last 12 games.

Last Thursday, St. Anthony escaped with a win against Newton by the margin of a single free throw, 59-58.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Altamont had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Movin Maroons, sneaking past 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since December 28, 2023.

St. Anthony pushed their record up to 25-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.2 points. As for Altamont, their win bumped their record up to 13-18.

St. Anthony was able to grind out a solid victory over Altamont in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 44-36. Will St. Anthony repeat their success, or does Altamont have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
