Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Boston last Tuesday, Chapel Hill came back down to earth. The Red Devils fell 3-1 to the Como-Pickton Eagles on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 24-26, 25-20.

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Como-Pickton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapel Hill will host Bowie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Como-Pickton, they will welcome Miller Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
