Soccer Game Preview: Union Colony Prep vs. SkyView Academy

The Union Colony Prep Timberwolves will take on the SkyView Academy Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Colony Prep's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Union Colony Prep fell victim to Dawson School and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, SkyView Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. SkyView Academy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Elena Telesin, who's now up to 12 this season.

SkyView Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matches. As for Union Colony Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1.
