Basketball Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-63 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bell County Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-50 back in December of 2024.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bell County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Harlan will face off against Middlesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bell County, they will take on Leslie County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
