Recap: Harvest Christian vs. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears
Harvest Christian have been a dominant force so far but will be looking to break out of a two-game mini slump. They took a 59-45 bruising from Pharr-San Juan-Alamo on Saturday.
Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Erasmo Montalvo led the charge by scoring 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Montalvo has scored at least 25% of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hector Sanchez, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
Harvest Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
