Softball Recap: Pleasant Ridge Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five matchups, Pleasant Ridge finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Jackson Heights Cobras, falling 17-0. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 15-8 to the Cobras when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pleasant Ridge now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Jackson Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

While Pleasant Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
