Football Game Preview: Pennridge Rams vs. Coatesville Red Raiders

The Pennridge Rams will take on the Coatesville Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pennridge comes in on four and Coatesville on three.

Pennridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Downingtown East by a score of 21-9.

William Dougherty was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 67 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Coatesville owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They took down Council Rock South 14-0.

Pennridge's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Coatesville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Pennridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Coatesville when the teams last played back in November of 2020, sneaking past 36-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
