Basketball Game Preview: Lake Stevens Vikings vs. Arlington Eagles

The Lake Stevens Vikings will head out to challenge the Arlington Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Lake Stevens is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Burlington-Edison just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Tigers are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Arlington strolled past Jackson with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 54-40.

Lake Stevens' defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Lake Stevens strolled past Arlington in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 66-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lake Stevens since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
