Basketball Recap: Santa Gertrudis Academy Takes a Loss

Santa Gertrudis Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt an 84-46 loss at the hands of the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-18.

Santa Gertrudis Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Tuloso-Midway, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Santa Gertrudis Academy will venture away from home to challenge Falfurrias at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tuloso-Midway will take on Jones in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
