Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nacogdoches). They claimed a resounding 69-33 win over the Mineola Yellowjackets. While the Dragons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Nacogdoches' victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Mineola, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Nacogdoches wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-45 loss against Corsicana on the 6th. As for Mineola, they will venture away from home to challenge Chapel Hill at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Yellowjackets surely won't give up without a fight.
