If Mt. Zion was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Morrow two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell 4-2 to the Therrell Panthers on Monday. Mt. Zion's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Therrell, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Mt. Zion will head out on the road to take on Jonesboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Zion are facing Jonesboro at the right time seeing as Jonesboro are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Therrell, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lithonia at 5:30 p.m.
