Volleyball Recap: Allegheny-Clarion Valley's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Allegheny-Clarion Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Cranberry Area Berries 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

One reason for the win was Allegheny-Clarion Valley's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-18.

Allegheny-Clarion Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Cranberry Area, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Allegheny-Clarion Valley will head out to face off against Elk County Catholic at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cranberry Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
