Basketball Game Preview: Berea Bulldogs vs. Daniel Lions

The Berea Bulldogs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Daniel Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Berea will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Travelers Rest, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Berea enjoyed a cozy 76-57 victory over Travelers Rest on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Daniel entered their contest against Greer on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Daniel came up short against Greer, falling 81-55.

Berea will have to keep a close watch on Will Swann and Jackson Conley, a pair of players who had a big impact on Daniel's prior game. Swann went 5 of 10 en route to 16 points along with five assists and five boards, while Conley went 7 for 8 on his way to 17 points.

Berea's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Daniel, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Berea came up short against Daniel in their previous matchup on January 8th, falling 75-63.
