Football Recap: Ada Takes a Loss

After flying high against Riverdale last Friday, Ada came back down to earth. The Bulldogs had to suffer through a 42-3 loss at the hands of the Van Buren Black Knights. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Ada's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Van Buren, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Ada will welcome Pandora-Gilboa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Van Buren, they will face off against Elmwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Royals will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
