Dublin entered their tilt with Placer on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 64-55 win over the Hillmen. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Gaels' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Hillmen are ranked 30th).

Dublin's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Placer, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Dublin will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Valley Christian at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026. Placer will take on Rocklin in a holiday battle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hillmen will be up against the Thunder's rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
