Basketball Game Preview: Treutlen Vikings vs. Montgomery County Eagles

The Treutlen Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Montgomery County Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Treutlen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Treutlen beat Wilcox County 62-58.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Montgomery County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 76-74 win over Telfair County on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

The win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 6-15. As for Treutlen, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Treutlen came up short against Montgomery County in their previous meeting on January 10th, falling 74-68. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
