Basketball Game Preview: Sanger Indians vs. Celina Bobcats

Sanger hasn't had much luck against Celina recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sanger Indians will look to defend their home court against the Celina Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Sanger beat Gainesville 76-63. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Leopards are ranked 394th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Celina didn't have too much trouble with Gainesville on Tuesday as they won 60-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Celina's win bumped their record up to 20-13. As for Sanger, they are also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.
