Pine Valley Central came out on top against Maple Grove on Monday thanks in part to Trent Ivett's efforts. Ivett was unstoppable, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
