Basketball Recap: Kiowa Drops Season-High Score on Tupelo

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kiowa). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Tupelo Tigers 79-23. The win continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Kiowa's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Tupelo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Coming up, Kiowa will challenge Crowder at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Crowder will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Kiowa surely won't give up without a fight. Tupelo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
