Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Albany). They never let the Varnado Wildcats get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Albany is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. Varnado is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Albany will face off against Bogalusa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varnado, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 18-3 loss against Salmen on the 17th.
