Bishop Brossart made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Boone County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Bishop Brossart's pitchers stepped up to hand Boone County a 6-0 shutout on Saturday. The Mustangs not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Amin, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Luke Bertsch was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Bishop Brossart's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Boone County, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Bishop Brossart will be playing at home against Montgomery County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Boone County, they are taking a road trip to take on Holy Cross at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
