Softball Recap: Abingdon Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Abingdon entered their tilt with Central Wise on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Abingdon pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Central Wise, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4.
