There's no place like home for Herculaneum, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Grandview Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The Black Cats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Herculaneum not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Grandview between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-17.

Abbigale Pruitt paced Herculaneum's offense, picking up nine kills. Pruitt got some help from Macy Pope and her nine assists. Pruitt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Herculaneum's win bumped their record up to 7-15-5. As for Grandview, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
