Basketball Recap: Crosby Takes a Loss

Crosby lost against Deer Park back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars fell 69-61 to the Deer.

When it comes to explaining why Crosby lost, don't look at Nehemiah Jordan. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine assists. Another player making a difference was Keondre Hebert, who posted 12 points and five boards.

Crosby now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Deer Park, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Crosby and Deer Park will both be playing Fort Bend Dulles the next time they take the court. The Deer will host the Vikings at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
