After losing to Sheridan the last time they met, Carroll decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Carroll Cougars came out on top against the Sheridan Blackhawks by a score of 67-58 on Friday.

Sheridan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caleb Wright, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Hamilton, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points and four steals.

Carroll has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points over those games. As for Sheridan, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Coming up, Carroll will welcome Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Sheridan, they will challenge Western Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
