Baseball Game Preview: Rancho San Juan Trailblazers vs. Pacific Grove Breakers

For the second straight game, Rancho San Juan will face off against Pacific Grove. The Trailblazers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Breakers at 4:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Rancho San Juan came up short against Pacific Grove and fell 5-2. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Pacific Grove's part, they got a great performance from Georgio Rosa as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. Rosa has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Issac Sanchez was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Brody Edmonds, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Rancho San Juan's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Pacific Grove, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
