Basketball Game Preview: Everett Vikings vs. Okemos Wolves

Everett is 0-10 against Okemos since January of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Everett put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They came up short against Waverly, falling 100-79. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Warriors are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Okemos' strategy against Haslett on Tuesday. The Wolves took down the Vikings 67-50. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Okemos, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.
