The Shadow Creek Sharks will challenge the King Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Shadow Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Fort Bend Bush 57-13. Winning may never get old, but the Sharks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadow Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than B.J. LaFell, who rushed for 99 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries. Jaylen Addai was in the mix too, providing the Sharks with three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Shadow Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Shadow Creek, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Addai, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, King took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-7 victory over Clear Falls. The Panthers have beaten the Knights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.
Shadow Creek better keep an eye on Timothy Potts. He was instrumental in King's win, throwing for 168 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 33 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Potts a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Antwon Sanders was another key player, rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
King didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as My'Kah Laster, Shelton Cavitt, and Enoch Bell picked up one apiece. King got some further help from Dominick Toulon: he picked up four sacks and made seven total tackles.
Shadow Creek's record is now 8-3. As for King, their record now sits at 9-2.
Shadow Creek ended up a good deal behind King in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, losing 52-34. Can the Sharks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
