Basketball Recap: Illini West Comes Up Short

Illini West and Central/Southeastern squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Illini West had to settle for second. They lost to the Central/Southeastern Panthers at home by a 49-34 margin. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Illini West's defeat dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Central/Southeastern, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 27-3.

As of now, neither Illini West nor Central/Southeastern have any future games scheduled.
