Preview: Fonda-Fultonville Braves vs. O'Neill Raiders
The Fonda-Fultonville Braves will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the O'Neill Raiders at 12:00 p.m. on November 25th. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Fonda-Fultonville: 13, O'Neill: 15) so any points scored will be well earned.
Fonda-Fultonville had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let Gouverneur onto the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for Fonda-Fultonville, who have now won ten contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, O'Neill earned a 17-7 win over Bronxville on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for O'Neill.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead O'Neill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marek Arbogast, who picked up 122 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Haley, who threw for 220 yards and a touchdown.
Fonda-Fultonville's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for O'Neill, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
