Softball Preview: Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes vs. Ridge Point Panthers
Fort Bend Hightower is 0-9 against Ridge Point since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hurricanes will head out to square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Ridge Point will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Fort Bend Hightower extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Hurricanes put the hurt on Fort Bend Austin with a sharp 21-5 win.

Baylee Bonner was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with six RBI and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kourtney Jones-Caldwell, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Ali Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Johnson was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.
In other batting news, Braelyn Daniels was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Corrine Collins also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
