Basketball Game Preview: Crisp Academy Wildcats vs. Fullington Academy Trojans

Crisp Academy and Fullington Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Crisp Academy Wildcats will host the Fullington Academy Trojans at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Crisp Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Crisp Academy will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Westwood, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Crisp Academy strolled past Westwood with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-40.

Meanwhile, Fullington Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the EAGLES 60-10. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 27 points or more this season.

Crisp Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Fullington Academy, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Crisp Academy came up short against Fullington Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 52-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fullington Academy's Kathryn Akin, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds.
