Pendleton had lost four straight headed into Tuesday's game, but Samuel Ross didn't let it get to five. The Bulldogs blew past the Stephens County Indians 60-36 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Ross, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 17 points and five boards. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Keith, who posted 12 points and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last four games he's played.

Pendleton's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Stephens County, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Pendleton will square off against Berea at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stephens County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Crescent at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
