Rudyard came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Manistique Emeralds with a sharp 18-3 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rudyard's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Manistique, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Rudyard will be playing at home against Superior Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manistique, they will challenge St. Ignace at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
