Basketball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans, falling 71-35. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 48-29 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seymour will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brown County at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia, they will take on Maryville Christian in a tournament on Tuesday.
