Basketball Game Preview: Forest Hills Central Rangers vs. Christian Eagles

The Forest Hills Central Rangers will challenge the Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest Hills Central is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Forest Hills Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Zeeland East on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Chix are ranked 109th).

Meanwhile, Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Covenant Christian on Friday, taking the game 45-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Forest Hills Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Forest Hills Central was able to grind out a solid win over Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 42-31. Does Forest Hills Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
