Basketball Game Preview: Gurdon Go-Devils vs. Fordyce Redbugs

The Gurdon Go-Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Fordyce Redbugs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gurdon is looking for their season's first win.

Last Tuesday, Gurdon took a blow against Poyen, falling 57-19. While losing is never fun, the Go-Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Indians are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Fordyce lost 58-38 to Parkers Chapel on Tuesday. The Redbugs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gurdon's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Fordyce, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-19.

Gurdon came up short against Fordyce when the teams last played back in January, falling 35-31. Can Gurdon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
