Smith came up big in Seaman's 18-3 win
While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Kinsley Smith. West had no answer to Smith on Friday as she went 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and a triple.
Smith's strong effort led Seaman over West and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Seaman is 7-2 against West going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
