Volleyball Recap: North Pole Patriots vs. Chugiak Mustangs
North Pole was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chugiak Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19.
North Pole's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17-3. As for Chugiak, their win bumped their record up to 21-14-1.
North Pole has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against West Anchorage on the 26th. As for Chugiak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Nikiski on the 25th.
