Basketball Recap: West Lowndes Takes a Loss

West Lowndes was the 49-42 winner over West Point when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 70-62 to the Green Wave on Saturday.

West Lowndes' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Point, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, West Lowndes will welcome Caledonia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Point, they are taking a road trip to challenge Aberdeen at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
