Baseball Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short

Hampton's tournament run continued when they took on Cutter-Morning Star on Saturday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-6. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hampton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cutter-Morning Star, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Hampton will venture away from home to take on Fordyce at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Redbugs' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cutter-Morning Star, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
