Softball Game Preview: Victoria West Warriors vs. Terry Rangers

The Victoria West Warriors will face off against the Terry Rangers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Victoria West has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Victoria West is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a 15-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calhoun.

Karstyn Cann made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Keyanna Fillmore was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.

Cann wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Victoria West kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Terry was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Victoria East, falling 15-2.

Terry's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Victoria West, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
