Basketball Recap: Butte Takes a Loss

After flying high against Beaverhead County last Tuesday, Butte came back down to earth. The Butte Bulldogs took a blow against the Skyview Falcons on Friday, falling 77-40. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost nine in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Butte fell to 2-1. As for Skyview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Butte will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Skyview will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Billings Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
