Basketball Recap: Cloudcroft Comes Up Short

Cloudcroft entered their game against Cliff on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cloudcroft Bears came up short against the Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls, falling 65-45. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Cowboys/Cowgirls from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Cloudcroft's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for Cliff, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cloudcroft will head out to take on Gateway Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cliff, they will venture away from home to face off against Hondo Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
