It's playoff time, and Bay had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the Quitman Panthers an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The win (which was Bay's third in a row) raised their record to 13-6-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Quitman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
