Montabella never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Merrill Vandals 11-0. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won four games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Brady Kieff, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Zaiden Myers was another key player, going 1-for-3 with five stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Montabella's record is now 7-1. As for Merrill, they moved to 3-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Montabella will take on Manton at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Merrill, they will challenge Vestaburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
