Basketball Recap: Charles Wright Tarriers vs. Summit Classical Christian School Archers

Charles Wright was the 59-42 winner over Summit Classical Christian School when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Charles Wright Tarriers took a hard 67-49 fall against the Summit Classical Christian School Archers on Friday. Summit Classical Christian School had a senior duo take command as Trey Hodo went 11 of 21 on his way to 28 points along with seven boards and seven steals and Will Simon dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. With that strong performance, Hodo is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Gledhill, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Charles Wright dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
