Soccer Recap: Walton Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Rutherford

There's no place like home for Walton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Rutherford Rams on Wednesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Braves' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Brayden Sampson and Israel Ramirez scored all four of Walton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Walton will be playing at home against Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pine Forest will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Walton surely won't give up without a fight. Rutherford has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Franklin County on the 10th.
