On Tuesday, Mountain View faced Powell in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mountain View Buffalos beat the Powell Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 53-51. The win was nothing new for the Buffalos as they're now sitting on four straight.

Mountain View pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Powell, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will head out to square off against Worland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View is facing Worland at the right time seeing as Worland is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Powell, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
